Taste of Wylie!

Our Community is soooo amazing. Just being out and about in Wylie gives me such a great feeling of home. I spent much of the week visiting our schools and the teachers and staff are awesome. Be sure to thank them for the great job they do taking care of all our children!! We will be adding a discount for all employees of WISD beginning next season---to try and give back!! I enjoy living, working and raising my children in Wylie, the schools, businesses, churches, chamber, and citizens are so warm, generous and supportive. Wylie Elite is donating to the auction in support of the Christian Care Center in Wylie. The Taste of Wylie will have 23 local businesses sampling food and having fun, Monday, April 20th in the gym of First Baptist Church, from 11-2 pm. Tickets are @ $10. Go Wylie!!

Fun Fun and MORE Fun!
We have been working to set up for our Summer at Wylie Elite. We are finalizing our NEW summer class schedules as well as our Summer Camps we will be holding. This is a great opportunity to come have a lot of fun making new friends while learning cheers, chants, stunts, dances and jumps from our AWESOME Wylie Elite Staff!! We will also give you tips on how to be working at home to strengthen the muscles that are most important to be a successful tumbler and cheerleader!
Sooo....if you haven't come by to see our NEW gym yet...whether you are just curious about who we are, or, you want to observe a class and check us out....please come by and meet us! We have a FANTASTIC facility that we are excited to share with the community!

Summer Cheer Camps in Wylie

WOW! You all did an awesome job at Six Flags!!! I am so proud of our Wylie Elite family!! Both teams winning 1st place at a competition our first year is sooooo AWESOME!!!! The coaches kept raising the bar all year long and you all continued to rise up and continuously improve in all areas!! It has been a great joy watching all of our athletes grow this first year!! I love it!! You Rock!! I am sooo excited to see what you all can do with more gym time and all the focus you will have to improve your skills through the summer. I am excited to welcome new athletes into our WE family and as we put together new teams, summer camps and much more. Be sure to attend an informational meeting and sign up for an evaluation time soon!! Invite your friends who are interested in cheering with you! The summer camps are :

All Star Cheerleading in Wylie is TAKING OFF!

WE are getting calls like CRAZY!! That means with great, fresh, new talent coming in...mixed with our already amazing group we have now.....WE will be Champions:) Go Elite!
Being in the NEW space has been such a blessing. When I walk in the doors I just feel like I am at home. I can tell that the kids at our gym have a new inspiration and there is a great feeling of excitement in the air at Wylie Elite. The word is spreading....watch out Wylie.....the new kids on the block are here and fired up!
I am also really excited about our evaluations/tryouts for our new teams. We are getting a lot of new faces in the gym and that pumps me up:) We are also gearing up for summer with new summer classes as well as FUN, FUN, FUN Summer Camps that we will be having. Stay tuned in to the WE website for more to come!

We are so excited to get into our new facility, we will open the new gym with a FREE Tryout Clinic for Wylie Junior High and High School and surrounding school cheerleaders who are trying out for their school's cheer team. March 10th, we will have the girls in to clean up their routines and work on proper jump and motion technique and their spirit in and out. One Thursday, March 12th we will also offer the athletes a Mock Tryout with a panel of professional judges to give the girls feedback and serve a spaghetti dinner to boost their energy! Good Luck girls!! If you are interested in attending let me know or email me to reserve a spot!
Parent meetings have begun for the 2009-2010 season. We will be holding a few more on March 5th and April 13th at 7 pm. Evaluations and NEW teams will be formed at the end of April, and then will begin practice in May. WOW!! I can't believe it is time for our next season!! Wylie Elite is ready to grow!! Come see what the fun and excitement is all about! Also, I have been informed that our cheer shoes are on sale for $20 at the Reebok Outlet in Allen if you know you will be joining us at Wylie Elite, you might want to grab those!
A note to all those great athletes and parents from this season----Nokia Theatre is next Saturday, March the 7th. Be watching for performance times. These girls are looking sooo strong! We will be awesome! Then we will finish off with Six Flags-NCA competition on March 28th! I can't wait to see you guys smiling and practicing on our NEW Floor!! You Rock!!

Finally . . . . A Competitive Cheer Gym in Wylie!

So..I went to look at the new gym again last night and everytime I set foot in that place, I can't help but to get so fired up. It is going to be a great place for kids to grow not only in skill but in character. We had a great Wylie Elite Mini and Junior practice last night. Man...our kids are looking so great and have come so far in such a short time!! WE are ready for next weekend's competition. As a matter of fact, we all agreed that we are sick of practicing...WE are just plain ready to compete:) Go Elite!! You go girls.

The Future is BRIGHT!

Well, we just finished our first competition and it has got me so fired up for the future of Wylie Elite. Our teams exceeded our expectations and were complimented by the President of the hosting company as well as the judges. I am looking forward to this weekend as we compete again.
I am also VERY excited for our new gym to open. It was just painted and is in the home stretch to be finished. Everytime I walk into the new gym, it gives me a great vision for an amazing opportunity to be a positive influence on young people in our community. Go Elite and let's all get excited!!!!!

I am so excited about competition season. The teams both made us so proud our first time out! It was a great joy to see you all perform. There is so much talent and many of you have really come a long way. Looking back to where we started---you look AWESOME!! We are going to be in our new gym very soon---like a few weeks!! I can't wait! Thanks to the parents for your support-your awesome too! Keep on pressing on....we're just getting started.

Just a bit going on this time of year ....Wylie Elite has broken ground on our new training facility. We are very excited to get into a bigger space where we can really reach our potential. We hope to move in at the first of the new year. We continue to enroll many new athletes into our classes. Tell all your friends, we are having a drawing for those who refer a friend at the end of this month. Good Luck!! Wylie Elite Junior All Star Team just finished their Choreography Weekend last weekend and they all exceeded all of our expectations. They look awesome, I can't wait to take these girls to competition!! We also had our first photo shoot for the website coming very soon....be on the lookout for www.wylieelite.com.
This weekend, WE set up a booth at the Wylie View Chili Taste a Thon and shared with some of our candy, tattoos, and talent with our neighbors. We are headed to the Rodeo Event in Wylie on October 24th....so grab your boots and hat and join us for some old fashioned family fun! We will also celebrate Fall at the Annual Boo on Ballard Family Trick or Treat event in downtown Wylie on Oct 30th, 6-8 pm. We will begin Choreography for the mini team on Sunday, October 26th, 2-5 pm.
