	January 24, 2011 Save the date... Tryouts for 2011-2012! Kristy Von Runnen Start spreading the word about Wylie Elite's Tryout dates for the 2011-12 season. We are looking forward to finishing strong this year but we are always excited about the upcoming new season:) Get these dates on your calendar pronto!! Informational meetings: March 22nd- 7PM March 31st- 7PM Tryouts: $25 tryout fee April 9th or April 30th (Parent required for mandatory meeting during tryout) Ages 4-10~ 8:30-9:30AM Ages 11-18~ 10-11:00AM We can set up a private evaluation if the above dates don't work for you. Please call the Wylie Elite office to schedule. We will post the Tryout Application and New Team Packet for 2011-12 in February online. Please click on the "All-star" tab for that information. 	January 18, 2011 National Champs.... again!! Kristy Von Runnen Wylie Elite competed this past weekend in Fort Worth at our first Nationals. Despite the fact that there were a lot of great teams there, Wylie Elite shined! I am so proud of where we are taking our gym. 	December 03, 2010 Keep it up! Kristy Von Runnen Keep that cardio up! I know that everyone is looking forward to the 2 week break for Christmas but it is important to keep that cardio up for what's to come when we return! I noticed such a difference in routines from just taking a week off for Thanksgiving. It is amazing how long and hard we have to work to get our bodies in condition to do what we do but how fast we loose it. Here are some practical ideas to help you stay in shape during the holidays so that your return isn't so "painful"! Run around the block once a day Run up and down your stairs 20 times everyday Do 10 of each jump that you perform in you routine once a day Work you core by doing crunches and planks Gorilla jumps help keep your legs strong.. get jumpin! COME TO OPEN GYM to tumble during the break I am so proud of our routines! Let's keep building up and not backtrack during the holidays. Y'all rock my socks off:) Coach Kristy! 	November 09, 2010 Fabulous First! Kristy Von Runnen What else can I say but our Wylie Elite teams looked FABULOUS our first time out this year. Our routines proved to be stacked with power and creativity and I couldn't be more proud of our girls. NCA Classic = Minis 4th, Youth 1st, Juniors 2nd and Seniors 1st!! I am looking forward to a month of cleaning, tweaking and polishing before our next competition! I love our families and their support for our gym and one another. Way to go Elite! 	September 17, 2010 Bring it on! Kristy Von Runnen Awesome athletes..check! Incredible coaches.....check! Exciting routines.....check! We are ready to kick of this year's competition season. I am so proud of all our Wylie Elite girls. All of our teams worked so hard through the summer on their skills and it feels so good to have our routines in place. It was also a blessing to watch each team build great relationships and team work at our recent lock-in. It is going to be another great year...... let the games begin! 	February 22, 2010 Calling all Cheerleaders from Wylie, Plano, Allen, Garland, Rowlett, and surrounding areas! Kristy Von Runnen We are very excited for our upcoming tryouts! 	February 08, 2010 Wylie Elite visits San Antonio! Kristy Von Runnen Wow...what a fun weekend. Wylie Elite All-Stars took our first out of town trip together to compete in San Antonio at Cheer Power's Nationals! This was the largest competition we have attended so far and we did awesome!! Seniors- National Champions bringing home a banner for our gym and leather jackets! Way to go girls! Juniors- 2nd Place.....by a hair! Ya'll almost did it. You made us proud girls. Way to bring it on Day 2:) Minis- 3rd Place. This was tight too! You all have come so far and really know how to light up the mat. Good job. Tiny- 4th Place. You are a joy to watch and add so much to our program! Way to go Elite cuties!! We are blessed and having such a fun and successful year. Parents, you are incredible.
